No, Twinkies were never my thing. When I heard that Twinkies were being discontinued, I tried to remember the last time I ate one and I couldn’t recall. I’m sure it’s been over thirty years and maybe over forty.
I was surprised.
So, what’s your beef…er, twinkie?
I thought Baker was a Quarterback calling out the play just before the football snap.
HUT HUT HIKE
Nothing. What made you feel I was upset about anything?
mensa-She’s counting down until 2013 Death Pool entries open. (as I get whooshed)
Yao Defen, the world’s tallest woman, died on 13 Nov.
Valerie Eliot, Widow of Poet T.S. Eliot, dead at 86
Thank you for letting Andrew Lloyd Webber buy the stage rights to Old Possum’s Book of Practical CATS.
Good Lord.
I think the celebs are saving their energy for a big push at the end of the year. Go team!
I feel like I should let y’all know, if you don’t already, Baker’s grandmother died yesterday. Baker wrote a very loving, moving tribute about her in this thread. I’m sure she would appreciate any kind words anyone has to say at this time.
Sen Warren Rudman has closed his personal life deficit at age 82.
Bonnie Lynn Fields, who was one of the Mouseketeers during the third season of the original Mickey Mouse Club, has died at the age of 68. Fields, who was not one of the featured performers but distinguished herself as a dancer, later ran dance studios. She also appeared in ballet productions, films, and Broadway shows.
Nope, nobody for Rudman or Fields.
Thank goodne…I mean, too bad.
Crap. I picked the wrong year to chose the shortest man.
Since none of us would have been likely to expect this I imagine no one has him but, things are not looking good for boxer Hector Camacho.
I saw the news about Camacho yesterday and went to check on the list. Nope, nobody had him.
Deborah Raffin, who made a name for herself in acting and later became involved in publishing audio books, has died at the age of 59. Raffin’s screen credits include the made-for-TV movie Nightmare in Badham County, which helped make her a star in China. Dove Books-on-Tape, which she and her then-husband Michael Viner started as a hobby, produced recordings of volumes as varied as Sidney Sheldon’s novel Naked Face and Stephen Hawking’s cosmological opus A Brief History of Time.
Lucille Bliss, voice of Smurfette.
Oh well, guess I’ll have to update my 2013 list. I’ve been planning for the “Quantity, not Quality” award next year.
