Did anyone have Neil Hope , “Wheels” from DeGrassi High … in the 2007 Death Pool? It seems he died Nov. 25, 2007 and no one (in the media) noticed until now.
So, did anyone have him in the 2007 death pool? In any pool since and need to use an alternate?

NEW YORK — New York Times correspondent Anthony Shadid, who won the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of Iraq, died Thursday in eastern Syria while on a reporting assignment. The cause of his death apparently was an asthma attack, the Times said. Times photographer Tyler Hicks was with him and carried his body to Turkey, it said.

A CAT scan has found that the cancerous tumor of the larynx from which former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has been suffering is gone, but that must still be confirmed with an endoscopy, Lula’s oncologist, Artur Katz, said in an interview published Sunday by the Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper.
“From the tomographical point of view, the tumor can no longer be seen,” Katz said after the tests performed on Lula on Saturday, when he entered Sao Paulo’s Sirio Libanes Hospital for dehydration and fatigue.
I seem to be the kiss of long life for bandwagons. Ariel Sharon, Zsa Zsa, Robin Gibb. People with chronic diseases should be clamoring for a place on my list.

New York socialite Zelda Kaplan, 95, died Wednesday :
As a fashion icon collapsed and died at a show during New York fashion week, the runway models didn’t miss a step as they pranced past her.
TMZ obtained footage from the Joanna Mastroianni Autumn/Winter 2012 show on Feb. 15 … which shows three men rushing to** Zelda Kaplan**'s aid after she lapsed into unconsciousness in her front row seat.
Some of the lights were turned on … and people can be seen crossing over the runway to help out … but the ultra-focused models continue their walks without ever breaking stride.
Eventually, Zelda was carried out by 4 people and taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

As their marriage fell apart, the Previns worked on the soundtrack for Valley of the Dolls . Dory later received a third Oscar nomination for co-writing “Come Saturday Morning” for the film The Sterile Cuckoo .
