Well folks, the results are in.
The winner of the 2013 Death Pool is CAMJAY77, with 385 points! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! Ten deaths, and two of them unique. Registered at Last also had ten deaths, but those picks averaged somewhat older, garnering fewer points.
However, CAMJAY77 and Registered at Last will share the “Quantity, not Quality” award, for having the most deaths regardless of points, at ten deaths each.
CAMJAY77 also wins the “Robbing the Cradle” Award, for the youngest celebrity death. Chris Snider was 29 when he passed.
Cumbrian wins the “Opening Kickoff” award, for Christopher Martin-Jenkins, who died on January 1, 2013.
The “Final Hours” award goes to Boozahol Squid, P. I. for their selection of Mikhail Kalashnikov, who died on December 23rd. Only six points, but hey!
ataraxy22 is the winner of the “Inside Track with the Grim Reaper” award, for the most unique picks, ataraxy22 had three unique picks that garnered points.
Themed list players didn’t do so well this year. For themed lists, the poster with the most points, 60, was anyrose.
