Let the games begin, and may the odds be ever in your favor!
I’ll do the final number crunching tomorrow, but I can tell you we have 175 players this year. Last year there were 172. Bush Sr. Hugo Chavez, and Lindsay Lohan are first, second and third, respectively.
Dang it, I meant Mikhail Gorbachev but had only a couple of minutes to put in my final list and had put Yeltsin as a placeholder to remind myself later to look for old Soviet Leaders as I figured that they were in their 60s twenty years ago. And I didn’t get back to the internet until too late to get your message :smack: Oh well, I guess I’m batting with only 92.3% of a team.
Okay, as I said before, we have 175 people playing this year.
There are 871 different celebrities on the list, 611 of which are unique picks.
The top 13 celebrities, whom I’ll list here, have nearly 24% of the total choices.
George H.W. Bush 85
Hugo Chavez 73
Lindsay Lohan 67
Fidel Castro 57
Bonnie Franklin 41
Muhammad Ali 32
Bashar al-Assad 30
Zsa Zsa Gabor 30
Margaret Thatcher 28
Nelson Mandela 28
Billy Graham-e 26
Roger Ebert 23
Nancy Reagan 22
I have to clarify one name on my list. Just looked it up and saw that there is an artist and author named Carol Miller. I didn’t mean her. I mean the NYC radio DJ who apparently slept with half the rock world.
Which of course means the other one (79) is a goner.
