Just wanted to say that. Re-enforced by the new movie commercial. Get rid of the leather and chopper and you have a cool franchise.
I much preferred the 90’s style Ghost Rider bike.

The Chopper just seems dated and impractical.
But then he’s just… some ghost. That’s lame. All the villains will run away slightly too fast for him to catch them and laugh at his inability to pop wheelies.
Reminds me of Mr. Grimm from the Twisted Metal franchise.
I am sure this movie will suck, but can you imagine if executive meddling did away with his motorcycle (Can he have a Trans Am? And can it talk? Let’s get Hasselhoff to do the voice!) The fans would be in a tizzy.
Uh, if you have a demon good guy who throws near-limitless chains who doesn’t ride a motorcycle, don’t you have Spawn?
You can’t rip off/steal comic book characters! That’s Todd McFarlane’s job!
What’s he supposed to ride? A Segway? The subway?
Hear, hear.
I think Big Mike, the Teutels and Jesse James (to name a few) might disagree.
I like the original Ghost Rider and his bike. Especially the stories where Zarathos was getting the upper hand. It was great to see a character who didn’t want to be a hero doing the best he could. All the while knowing he was going to screw it up/it was going to end badly. OTOH Danny Ketch and his teenage angst did nothing for me.
I actually like the chopper. Maybe it’s the fact that I’ve recently watched all 4 seasons of Sons Anarchy in less than a month, but I don’t see them as ‘outdated’.
I always liked the Ghostrider character, but I’m resigned to the new movie sucking as much if not more than the first one.
