The Clintons and the possible death of their strongest rival??
16 - Paula Grober - Clinton’s speech interpreter for the deaf from 1978 until her death December 9, 1992. She died in a one car accident.
So they assassinated a woman who used to work as a deaf speech interpreter for him, but they DIDN’T assassinate Monica Lewinsky?

Surely we are discussing the dumbest assassination conspirators in world history. Barack Obama has nothing to be worried about, but Bill Clinton’s gardener’s cousin’s dentist might want to watch his back.

Remember, one of the most popular Halloween costumes that year was a Hillary Clinton mask and a Carpet Bag.
Was this after the Macarena and before the Spice Girls?

I’m pretty good at remembering pop-culture trends but I’m blanking out on this.

And what the hell is a Carpet Bag?

Please tell me this isn’t making the rounds again.

This is so much unbelievable bullshit that I really have a hard time understanding how anyone can look at that and think ‘Yeah, it could happen, the Clintons are bad people!’. And yet every time it resurfaces more people see it and spread the word to others. Why can’t this just die.

I’ve never heard more pure unreasoned hatred than a Republican talking about the Clintons. Some of the crap I’ve heard attributed to one or the other just amazes me. I had one guy tell me that he heard Hillary say that she was for abortion up to 3 months after birth. I had him repeat the last part. He swears it what she said. The fact people believe this shit doesn’t amaze me, it just makes me sad.

The carpet bag thing is a Reconstruction era reference to Northerners who moved into the South. So it is a joke about Hillary’s 2000 Senate campaign. Real current stuff these days. While I wasn’t that politically aware at that time, I never heard any noises about JFK Jr. running for that Senate seat, and the idea that the Clintons somehow made him crash his plane is silly even by Clinton conspiracy theory standards.

Looking at all the friends of the Clintons that have supposedly died “mysteriously”, you might be able to make a case for a conspiracy against the Clintons.

McCain’s got cancer?

This one is my favorite. I’ve never been able to hear a logical reason why they’d need to shoot him if they were going to crash the plane anyway.
Not only that, but how did the shooter get out of the plane? Was it a suicide mission?
Was it a suicide mission?
If it was a suicide mission, somebody probably would have found the gun in the wreckage.

And they got Paul Wellstone, too!
Most of that list gets a great big  but this pisses me off:

As snopes points out, Mary and two co-workers were killed in a stupid robbery. Their deaths were tragic enough, but that they are being used by right-wing creeps in furtherance of their stupid agenda is horrific. Shame on the OP for spreading this nonsense.
That’s what they want you to think, that it was a stupid robbery…

In 200, I lived in a part of NYS where a little red “Hillary Now!” sticker was affixed to every goddam stop sign in the area. This is the first I’ve heard about this Halloween costume. I mean, literally.

And what the hell is a Carpet Bag?

Literally, a carpet bag is a piece of cheap luggage made by stitching a piece of carpet into a suitcase-like shape.

So–you got this little gem at Celiberal. That’s the “Celebrity Liberal Whine List.”

But, even there, an anti-Target thread was stopped cold because one of the members knew about Snopes. And posted an item for item refutation of a pack of lies.

Perhaps you’re very young & can’t remember the Clinton Impeachment years. Please, read up on your history!

Remember, please, folks, that the OP does not live in the US and probably didn’t get the unbelievably wearying play-by-play of right-wing smearminess that those of us who do and did live here at the time did. It’s entirely possible that the infamous Clinton Death List is actual news to him.

I don’t believe it, but I posted it because i’ve never heard about this and therefore wanted to find out of these accusations where usual among republican and if they where known in the american public

I know a lot of rep. hate the Clintons, (eapecially Hillary) but I have never fully understand why this hate was so strong.

Another thing
I just read on wikipedia about Clinton Chronicles (An Investigation into the Alleged Criminal Activities of Bill Clinton ). A video tape launched by right wing extremist Jerry Falwell: "This video explored the deaths of Vincent Foster and an alleged cocaine-smuggling operation purportedly involving then Governor of Arkansas Bill Clinton.[1] These deaths were part of the conspiracy theory known as the “Clinton Body Count”, which grew as years went by, as connections to Clinton were added with varying degrees of allegedly suspicious circumstances surrounding the deaths.

Wildfire, if you can imagine these kind of rumors stretching throughout 9 years of a Clinton candidacy and presidency, then you may have some inkling of what the 90s was like. I mean, Jerry Falwell, an alleged Christian minister, actually backed and sold that videotape as literal truth! The 700 Club (Pat Robertson’s allegedly Christian television show) regularly had segments on the Clintons being in league with Satan and touting that Clinton Body Count mess.

When Falwell and Robertson were issued their Bibles, they put out a signing statement on how they intended to carry out the ninth commandment.
It’s obvious that the Clintons hate fundraisers…
“Now… the rest of you are going to MAKE your quotas, right…?”

I’ve often thought that one of the benefits of a Hillary candidacy would be that the right-wingers would spend most of the year showing their asses.* It’s hard to exaggerate how ridiculous the anti-Clinton conspiracy hysteria was, and maybe this time around people will see it for what it is.

Then again, the media will probably play it up like: “Many say that the trail of bodies left in the Clintons’ wake is proof of their ruthless nature. Others disagree.”
