Anyone received emailed (or any other form of) “confirmation” that this illness exists? I’m not dead certain that this was a hoax, or anything. But certain details seem fishy. My apologies if I am mistaken.

Well, sometimes silence speaks volumes. No word, no evidence, nothing? After all this righteous indigination from Special K?
I could be wrong, but I think this conspicous silence is telling us something. Like something was fishy all along with this story. Hmmm.

Yep. Hey - we could be wrong. But when someone is so adamant and so indignant about something, declaring that they’ll “prove” their right-ness, and then…nothing. Well, poo-poo it is.
Sorry to bump this thread back to the top but…
4 days ago, Mr. Special K stated that he had sent proof to the admin. We are all still waiting, or at least I am. In one of Mr. Special K’s last posts he said, “Has it occurred to you that she is not lying? Even if she is, so what?” I keep looking at the second half of that statement. I think that it tells the WHOLE story of this “illness”.
I am now convinced that it is all POO POO, and will until said “proof” shows up.
Yeah, instead of “Special K,” this is getting more like “Froot Loops.”
I think we need to keep bumping this thread up to the top for a while, to remind people of what happened here.
Also, if Special K thinks she can slink away, and we’ll all forget the crap (so it appears) that she pulled here, sorry. Not quite yet - some of us are not quite ready to forget her “shame”. I think we all need to see what some people are capable of. And maybe next time we will be a little more alert and cautious when these sort of topics come up. (But careful, too. I wouldn’t want to have anyone jump down a genuinely ill person’s throat, because it was assumed that they were another “Special K”.)
I suggest this thread is dead and should be closed, having lost all characteristics of a great debate, becoming instead a great amount of baiting, and bumping it to the top ten times, without ever adding new information, is futile and tedious.
Any aggrieved parties can open a new thread in the pit, although I suspect that no degree of handwaving, no matter how vigorous, is ever going to get a response from the intended party or parties.
