I saw the video of this last night. Not the greatest footage, but at least it’s something. My question is: Did the person who shot this video get any money for this? I mean, if you’re the only person who get’s video of a plane crash, wouldnt you think you could sell it to the highest bidder? How much money would crash video like this fetch?
From what I understand, the woman who shot the footage sold it to a Spanish news company for some unspecified amount. They, in turn, sold it to the international market. I suppose you could start trying to pit seller againnst seller, but you’d damn well better hope you’ve got the only footage of it. Otherwise, the amount you’re going to get after jerking around the news stations is right about zilch.
