A storm came through NH yesterday and took all the crazy hot and humid weather away. It’s now dry and maybe mid-70’s.
The crickets right now are deafening! I actually like the noise, however, I can’t remember them ever being so loud years past.
A campfire would be good tonight…

For sure crickets? The cicadas were so loud here until about 20 mins ago and then they stopped suddenly. Now I just want to yell for the kids to shut up 
I hadn’t noticed until now, but the crickets are making a buttload of noise here outside DC. We also had a hard rain last night, followed by much cooler temps.
Same in Pittsburgh without the storm. Loud little buggers.
Yeah, are you sure it’s crickets? It’s cicadas that are usually the loud ones.
