Wow that really choked me up. What happened to the kitten in the end?!
Boy, now I know what Japanese people are committing suicide over these days.

I’m off to get my blood sugar tested. There should be a warning label on that thing.
I plugged the writing into my Japanese to English translator only to discover the writing on the side of the box says “Dog Treat”!!!
That was the single weirdest thing I’ve seen all week, and this has been a hell of a weird week.
Dog Treat??
well…we’d like to imagine that the kitten found a home, and the empty box was replaced with a new one
If you look closely you will see footprints in the snow walking away from the box at the end. Worry not. Kitty is safe.
There should be a warning on that site telling diabetics not to watch it lest there sugar levels get too high. My god, what drek.
Haj
My grandkids loved it. Had to show it 3 times. Now they will be asking me to see the singing kitty.
Aww thanks. new bookmark.
Is the other character a dog or a cat? I kind of thought it was a puppy, but I really can’t tell.
I think I’ll sit with Francesca too.
Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiihhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
And I thought Fushigi Yuugi was saccharine. Like, yipes.
Yes, I think the kitty decided to go out and find her star. She left her box (see the footprints) and closed the box (and that part of her life–waiting and not acting)
And yeah I got a little misty. I cry at commercials, though.
[sub]I like Fushigi Yuugi.[/sub]
CUUUUTEE!!!
Err, does anybody here read Japanese? Any idea as to what that one last line reads?
CUUUTE!!!
The first time I watched it I thought it was really cute.
The second time I watched it, I wondered what happened to the kitty.
The third time I watched I paid more attention to the lyrics and was sad.
The fourth, fifth and sixth time I watched it with my daughters just so I could admire the artwork.
The seventh time I wathced it I decided that the kitty’s singing was hurting the dog’s ears, so he taped her up in the box.
::sniff:: poor little kitty ::sniff
It’s bizarre, and brilliant. It’s like a perfectly deadpan parody of that kind of mooshy pop ballad. I’ve watched it three times and it fascinates me (and yes, I get teary-eyed too, for some reason). And the lyrics don’t quite make sense: something about not being able to find anyone to love (as we see the seasons change). Very poignant, that. Wow.
Anybody have any links to more stuff like this?? My friend is depressed and begging me for more. . . . I normaly do not keep around lists of cute shockwave files.
Hmm… Maybe this is what happened to that kitten. She’s gonna try to win the World Cup! サービス終了のお知らせ
I can’t believe I watched the whole thing. I would slit my wrists, but I’m afraid that high fructose corn syrup would ooze out.
Just a little bit of singing kitty goes a long long way.
My “cute” detector must be on the fritz, because that did nothing for me - not even the usual twinge of disgust at Hello Kitty lookalikes. The animation’s quite good though.
That (dog?) second animal looked like some sort of robot to me. Seeing a second one with a bow seemed kind of surreal. Then again, it seems I’m always finding machines where dogs are involved (ask me about Porthos somewhere else).
My guess is that at the end Kitty got sick of waiting and ran off, maybe to go join the Chipminks on thier revival tour.
It’s cute & kinda sad:(
I have watched 6 or 7 times now.
Showed it to my ex, he thinks it’s cute too.
I’m off my meds, maybe thats why it is affecting me so.
I’m going to go watch it again.
(Why can’t I save it to my computer?)
