They supposedly allowed the viewer to “see up” a girl’s skirt to her underwear. A book and subsequent musical about children attending Catholic school in 1950’s Chicago took their common title from this bit of lore.

Is Center School a fictional school?

It’s the name of several fictional unitary schools I can recall. Most easily I think it’s Kip Russel’s school in Have Spacesuit Will Travel.

Is paper and notebook gonna be the same thing, 'cause ultimately you have material in a collection that can be used to write down stuff – homework, doodles, notes for class and notes for passing?
