Are factually-incorrect answers still allowed to generate points? Pac-man is getting a bunch of 70’s answers, despite not being released until 1980…

I couldn’t remember when Pac-man came out. I know I was in HS but I thought of it as a very late 70’s for some reason.

Yep. It’s match the most answers, not the most “correct” answers.

I know this might make me unpopular, but I have to say, the read Feud doesn’t do it that way. And I’ve always thought it was strange that we did.

and Lara Croft isn’t a video game franchise (the games were just Tomb Raider (:whatever); only the films had “Lara Croft” in the title.
[/QUOTE]
Sure it is. The last four Tomb Raider games have been released under the “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” banner.

This thing is already enough of a pain to score without asking poor **Dolores **to go to the extra trouble of verifying correct vs. incorrect answers. I’m glad she does what she does, and I for one am happy with the Feuds being just the way they are.

I disagree, I think Dolores should have to verify each answer along with a cite for each correct answer to authenticate it’s truthiness. If she cannot authenticate an answer, of course after an exhaustive search of every available resource, including, but not limited to the Internet, then the answer may be deemed incorrect. the contestent will then have 15 days to protest the decision at which point Dolores and the aggrieved party will, within 30 days, be asked to appear before a three person panel consisting of brujaja, the Pope, and Adrian Veidt of the Watchmen and present their eveidence. The three will pose questions and then meet in private to determine the appropriate outcome. While they caucus a unanimous decision must be reached otherwise the final decison will rest with the ultimate authority, Cecil himself.

They do, IIRC. If some weirdo says “red” to name a koolaid flavor, and it matches one other in the 100 they polled, then you would get points - if they showed all the matches. They only show the top 3 or 4 answers in the Regular Feud, and (I think) all matches in the Final “Fast Money” portion.

The real Feud only gives credit for the top X answers, and awards points based on percentage of responders, not just what place it got. It also has Richard Dawson slobbering on you. The SDMB Feud differs in several ways, thankfully.
Hive Mind, however, is a WotC board game whose ruleset is nearly identical to Dolores’.

I was gonna try, but too much Googling to even find out what some of the questions even MEAN. I’ll just set up the spectator zone over here. I’ve got cookies!

Mmm, cookies. I’m with you. I gave it a try, but I clearly know nothing of the video games.
