I didn’t see the whole movie, but the parts I did see made me think Bush had no spine, and was being controled by his handlers. Maybe if I did see the whole thing, I’d have a different impression.

On the actual day it happened, I came in the house after school, all happy because we got our “prizes” from our fundraisers, and I couldn’t wait to open mine and play the mini-checkers set with my older sister. She was really upset and said “The President was just shot” so I never got to play with her. I was too little to really understand the importnace of it, so I just played checkers against one of my toys.

Yes, I suppose you are right Zebra. The fact that they were (are, whatever) wealth does (in my twisted mind) come into the story.

They could have gotten help for their osn, but didn’t. It was easier to (well) do the easy thing. The lad was unstable and the family did not own up to their responsibilities to him or to society at large.

In a way, if the family was poor and ignorant I could find some space in my heat to pitty them. In this case, from the limited knowledge I have, I cannot.

But I am willing to be enlightened.
