I switched from hydroxycut to Carbloizer. http://www.carbolizer.com They use the word “ephedrine” and “ephedra”. What’s the difference?
Near as I can see, ephredra is the herb, from which the alkaloid ephedrine comes from (and is named for).

And it would help if I hadn’t put one too many “r’s” in ephedra. My apologies. Ephedrine was first isolated from ephedra, BTW, in 1887.
