The do-over MMP

It’s not pining, it’s passed on. This MMP is no more! It has ceased to be. It’s expired and gone to meet its maker. This is a late MMP. It’s a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. If you hadn’t nailed it to the perch it would be pushing up the daisies. It’s rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This is an ex-MMP!

Beautiful plumage, though.
Up, caffeinated, off to work.

blurf.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 54 Amurrkin and rainy out with a predicted high of 63 for the day. Rain is supposed to end this mornin’. We shall see. It rained all night and quite heavily.

So this is a zombie MMP now? That would explain why I have an urge for scrambled brrrrrraaaaaiiiiiiinnnnnnnsssss for brekkie.

Ok, now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants [del]brrrrrraaaaaaaiiiiiiinnnnnnsssss[/del] brekkie. Then, alas and alack, purtification for irk must commence. Ah well.

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

Morning all,

My co-irker just informed me that she forgot to take out her contacts last night and then promptly put in another pair this mornimg and just realized it after she drove to work and couldn’t see quite right. snerk

Rainy Tuesday. People can’t drive! Ready for this week to be over already.

Looks like the skies are clearin’. Da bear is glad for this because da bear now needs to go to the north forty and [del]slap sense into folks[/del] deal with a problem that needs to be dealt with face to face. Rah.

Does she have x-ray vision now; like the ads in comic books of our youth? Do they still advertise the x-ray glasses in the back of comic books? What about sea monkeys; can you still buy them? Did anyone ever have them?

Ah, Spidey, sit down.
I have some very bad news for you.

There was a package on my stoop when I got home yesterday. I did a silent cheer “yeah, my grapefruit is here.” On closer inspection the box read “David’s Cookies.” Inside was a 2 pound tin of gourmet cookies and a note of condolence on Bob’s death (Bob is my horse that crossed the bridge 2 weeks ago). The cool thing is that it is from a person on another board who I have never met in real life, but apparently Bob’s death moved her. I cannot explain how touched I am by her kindness. And yes, the cookies are outstanding.

Crisis averted, no need to travel to the north forty now. YAAAAAAY!!! I even asked for written confirmation of this via email and received it. Da bear can CYA with the best of 'em!

Wetone how jake of that person to do that! Plus, hey, cookies!

'Tis clear and sunny out but very, very, windy to the point of blustery. This is Winter in south Jawja. I want it to be April. April is Spring after the pine tree orgy.

Happy Toosday!

It’s a cloudy wet 49 degrees. I hope I don’t have to go out today but who knows. I still have lots of stuff to do.
I slept through the night last night for the first time in a long time.

Today is pizza day and laundry day. I’m waiting for my mother and her bf to leave to go bowling so I can run around without interruption and there’s no chance of carrying the laundry downstairs and catching her bf running around in his skivvies.

That was nice of your fellow poster Wetone I’d love to find two pounds of cookies on my doorstep. If I found grapefruit I’d be trying to re-home it.
Glad your test went well BBBobbio and that FCMFIL is doing well.

It is Tuesday and I has a blurf. Even though it’s nearly time to go home from irk, I still has a blurf.

My doting parent has been in the horsepistol since Sunday night with, the doc has now decided, a nasty case of pneumonia. She’s having anti-biotics and complaining that they aren’t giving her enough cups of tea so I am guessing she’s already starting to feel better. Must ring them later and see when they are going to throw her out on the streets as I am sure I’ll be expected to go and do the dutiful daughter thing…

BooFae here’s hopin’ the doting parent gets sprung from the horsepistol soonest and is gettin’ sufficient cups of tea.

N.O.L. time. I have beast stew from last night. NUM!

Just me and the kid so I’ll be getting my first load of laundry in and order the pizza.
It’s pouring rain so they can deliver today. I don’t want to go out in this crap. I feel guilty asking them to come out but it is how they make money.
Tomorrow I’ll drag the kid out grocery shopping. I’ll be sitting with piddlepup from Thorsday through Sunday morning so I won’t be doing much else.

I’m up! Really! I am!

Blink.

My bit of amusement this morning was an emailed link from one of my kids. Someone had posted the cover of a dog magazine with Rachael Ray on it, with the tag: an example of the importance of commas. The subtitle on the magazine?

Rachael Ray finds inspiration in cooking her family and her dog.
It made getting up worth it.

Commas are your friend

I don’t even know what day it is anymore. Work is slowing down, but we’re spending our free time de-cluttering the house and moving things to storage so we can get it listed and sell the sumbitch. I have read nothing, and I think this is the first time I’ve been to the Dope since the middle of last week. I miss you all, but don’t have time to read anything.

I’ve always thought RR was a little psycho. My suspicions have been confirmed!

Cooking your dog is a little psycho.
Cooking your family is major psycho.
