LOS ANGELES (AP) — A judge refused Monday to allow testimony about allegations of “sexual conduct” between two defendants and their dogs in a trial stemming from the fatal mauling of a San Francisco woman.

By everything I have read, there are only two possibilities:

There was a massive conspiracy to make them look bad/guilty, or they were lying through their teeth when they said they didn’t know (in fact desire) their dogs to be killers.

Methinks these two freaks got what was coming to them. There were numerous incidents with other people and dogs that should have led them to believe these dogs were a menace. They really were grossly negligent, from what I’ve read.

As an aside, they are also 2 of the weirdest people I’ve read about. 2 high-profile attorneys who adopted a ~30 yo violent white supremecist. Then of course, there’s all the sex stories floating around. Allegedly, there are photos of the woman having sex with the dogs. The guys seems oddly preoccupied with the dog’s sex lives too. In a Rolling Stone article, he is constantly referring to how “well-hung” the dog is and other weirdness.

One suit that stemmed from a shower head that needed repairing was seeking $50,000 in damages because one of the repairmen spoke to them in a German accent. Though the repairman was from Germany, Noel charged that he intentionally used the accent to offend his Jewish faith.

I fully agree with the verdicts, but I’m betting Knoller appeals and says she had an incompetent attorney. Not that the attorney was any weirder than Knoller or Noel, but that’s what’s going to happen.

The lawyer of the victim’s partner just made a little speech at press conference about there being “no need in our society for dogs of this size”. WTF? I think it’s more along the lines of there is no place in our country for people this disgusting.
He’s also filing a civil suit against the landlord who perhaps knew of previous attacks but did nothing about the dogs. That might be interesting, if that’s actually true.

Does anyone know maximum sentences they are facing?

The death was such a tragedy. But not all large dogs are like the ones at issue here. I wonder if the defendants were held to a higher standard because they are lawyers…

How on earth were the owners of the apartment building able to allow these very dangerous dogs to terrorize the tenants for years? I would think that the landlord would be every bit as liable as the two (demented) dog owners!
Also, why were these two trying to adopt the prisoner? What the hell was going on with that?
