The earliest I can start Yasmin after a course of Provera?

I just went out on a date with a 29 year old guy, never married and no kids. He told me midway through the date that he had a vasectomy and I asked how difficult it was to get one. “Well, I went to the doctor. He asked if I was sure. He told me the reversal options, I said that’s ok with me. In under 5 minutes my appointment was scheduled and I came back in a few days later and got it done.”

My actual response was, “Are you fucking kidding me?” Not out of shock or horror, but just pure jealousy.

But what if he gets baby fever and changes his mind? His emotions are probably clouding his judgment. Once he meets the right girl, he’ll want kids for sure.

Apparently the doctor told him not to worry because if he changes his mind, they can just suck the semen right out of his balls with a needle and call it a day, leaving his vasectomy perfectly intact. See, men get options.

Options? A needle to the balls? Why, that sounds like downright oppression to me. Why won’t somebody think of men’s rights?

Good advice. My cnp did apprise me of the bp risk as well, and she only prescribed 4 months of it. So I’ll have to go back and visit to get my bp tested and see how it’s affecting me (if I’m having other massive side effects, I plan to discuss them at that time). Normally my bp is better than fantastic, in spite of being a fat girl. So if it’s at all elevated, I’ll know it’s a problem.
