How marvelous that your grandfather made sure that these men were honored for their contributions to our country, and to the community they built.
He did a good thing, hon. You should be proud of that, just as he should be VERY proud of the wonderful person that his grandson has become.

Sorry I missed this yesterday.
What a nice article. And what a wonderful thing for your grandfather to do. Too often minority contributions to our country get passed over for whatever reason. It is a special type person that goes back and draws attention to these people and give them the tribute and acknowledgement they deserve.
