Since this is the 1000-th thread that I’ve posted in, I decided to do something I’ve never done before - start an appreciation thread. Is anyone else here a fan of the singer Eva Cassidy?
I recently saw and heard her on a video on TV that featured her life and music. Very sad that she died so young and never saw her success. Beautiful music, and she seemed genuinely humble. Haven’t had a chance to buy her CD, but will. Congrats on the post count! 
I have her version of Fields of Gold in my playlist. I like that version more than Sting’s original one (which of course, it is also beautiful).

I LOVE Eva Cassidy! I just bought the new one that came out on Tuesday (“Imagine”) and it’s beautiful.
I used to start off my day at the bookstore with her CDs…customers would inevitably ask who was singing and I’d get another chance to turn someone on to her music.
Man! I’ve never heard of Eva Cassiday before but there were a couple of articles in the Washington Post over what a diversified artist she was. I’ll have to track down her CD and buy it.
