Jessica Alba is back! Finally a decent horror film. The Eye premired today, February 1st. Anyone planning on seeing it in theatres? Check out the cool pictures of Jessica Alba on the set. The whole premise and story of The Eye will prove to be a real pychological thriller, philosophical even.
Eyes Only, Manticore Eyesight, there’s no I (eye) in team - if you were a fan of Dark Angel then you will love this movie.

Since Ms. Alba (while hot) really can’t act, and since almost all US remakes of Japanese horror films suck, I’m not sure if “decent” isn’t being anything but generous (especially since they wouldn’t even prescreen the film for most critics–it’s polling a 27% at RT as we speak).
The original was pretty good. Not great, but pretty good. I knew that this had been optioned for a remake a few years ago but didn’t realize it had progressed into an actual movie.
Unless word of mouth is really good, I’ll probably sit this one out.
BTW, anyone see the sequel, with Shu Qi? I’ve got it sitting on the shelf but haven’t gotten around to watching it yet…
