  11. Had to really think about that one!

  12. Hope people take this to mean “every letter a vowel except one”, as opposed to “only one of the consonants used, but repeatedly”, not that there are many of those either

  13. Assuming this is the one the creator (a musician) has in mind

  14. I think this answer should be counted the same as “reward”, as each has the same sequence, and the same should be true for “stressed-desserts”, “gateman-nametag”, etc.

  15. I doubt this will be a conch, as there are so many options

“Etna” has already been covered.

“Kinnikinnik” (also spelled “kinnikinnick” and similar variants) is a common noun when used to refer to a mixture of leaves and bark smoked by various American Indian tribes.

Incidentally, although you didn’t use it, I’ve noticed at least one misspelling repeated and thus scoring points – “abscess”, not “abcess”, is correct.

I’ve saved #4 and #5 in my brains all these years for just this opportunity.
#10 … it HAS to be ‘epee’! Will Shortz even mentioned it in the movie!

Nooo!! No.5, I keel you! All of you will score a million points from it while I sit in my galactic corner sucking eggs.

I’m sorry that there doesn’t seem to be a way to score for style and grace. Like kaylasdad99 up above with ‘unionized’ and many others, you have my admiration for finding something beyond the pale.

Rather like the times I’ve lost at Scrabble to people who kept putting three letter words in high-scoring places while I was finding three syllable beauties that just scored their face values…

Absolutely nothing to be sorry about. It IS The Feud after all.

Fabulous set of questions, by the way. Very few were easy or obvious.

I should have mentioned that I changed one of Le Ministre de l’au-delà’s questions.

This is an excellent Feud! I wonder if any of the answers will even be 50% conch-y?

I screwed up on 4 and put a word in with one vowel instead of one consonant. Could you change the question? Thank you .

Ulf the Unwashed is only #35. Lots of chatter in this Feud.

I figured the question meant “words that don’t follow the ‘i before e except after c’ rule”.

Obviously neighbour and weigh are notable exceptions to this rule but the question was asking for words that are exceptions.

No, lots of research.

The problem with your interpretation is the “…” after the “i before e except after c,” indicating (to me at least) that it was the entire rule that was meant.

Did I win?
