The Feud: Known by Initials by MadTheSwine and twickster [game over]

Counting the thread, it looks like I made it in just under the wire and I’m the 50th entry.

  1. F. Scott Fitzgerald
  2. George W. Bush
  3. J.C. Penny
  4. k.d. lang
  5. J. R. R. Tolkien
  6. J.R. Ewing
  7. M
  8. IMHO
  9. ST
  10. BTW

7: from the James Bond series
9: Star Trek

I know it’s a little after the fact, but for me Q always means the ST:TNG character played, mainly, by John Delancie

You are correct by my count, too.

Notifying the mods to [game over] the thread. I’ll get it scored this weekend.

I just enjoy thinking that we can’t actually know that these were two different people.

hmmm. . . . given the members of the Continuum’s ability to bend space and time . . .
but Bond’s Q wasn’t nearly mischievious enough

YW!

In your face, pard!

A. Conan Doyle? Did he ever actually use his name like that?

Regards,
R. Jason H300

No. It was a brain fart. I conflated two authors – Arthur Conan Doyle and T. Coraghessan Boyle. I typed the “T.” and remembered his first name was Arthur so I typed the “A.” and went blithely on with my stupid answer.

The sun got in my eyes. :o

:smack: If anyone’s wondering who the dumbass was who put MASH as a Movie or TV character, that was me (read the question too quickly).

I should probably admit I haven’t figured out a way to determine scores from my game so determining a winner is going to be difficult.

Why would it be scored differently from any other Feud?

Because it’s a Pyramid not a Feud.

I suppose I could stick with the traditonal method but then I’d have to pay someone $25,000.

Off to check out the pyramid feud.

Yes, he did, actually. I have the collected stories in a book just as they appeared in The Strand magazine from the outset, Paget’s famous illustrations included, and that’s just how his name appears.

Huh. So I didn’t imagine it after all.
