Can’t remember the full title. Kept waffling between it and The Shining. Went with it, because as likely as it is to get a bunch of hits, I just don’t LIKE The Shining.
-
Lots of competition, but I think it takes the cake.
-
Jesus, I hope I spelt his name right.
-
My favourite is Autopsy Room Four, but The Jaunt gets too much love here for me not to say it.

I haven’t read enough of King’s books to participate, but I want so share some love for one of his later short stories - “All That You Love Will Be Carried Away”
Also, if you’ve never listened to SK on audiobook, I highly recommend it. He is one of the most listenable authors I’ve heard, and I think that’s where his true genius is shown.
I honestly don’t find the ‘scary clown’ thing to be that scary to begin with, and Pennywise never struck me as a particularly scary incarnation of it.
(But then, I haven’t actually read the book, just seen the TV miniseries - the book probably makes him more scary.)
Yeah, a creepy looking clown that pulled little kids into the sewers, calls you on the phone to torment you, hides under your bed, appears out of nowhere with balloons full of blood, or can transform into your worst nightmare isn’t scary at all.
ETA The worst fim was The Langoliers.
I did not put a space in front of no.7. Mistyped. Should I resubmit?

The TV miniseries suffered from being a TV miniseries, with its low budget and its limitations on what level of gruesomeness you can show on TV.
No. I can live with typos.
Thanks for asking!
There’s a reason that I picked “It” for worst translation to screen. There are some things that just can’t be translated from book to screen, and It is one of them.
