After consulting wiki - yes I will count them together.
Scores up any minute. I will wait a while to see if there are any grouping corrections before I post the standings.

Wow, this was a sad little feud. Too specialized maybe? Thanks for hosting it Dolores. Hope it wasn’t a waste of your time.
Too specialized, but not a waste of my time.
Can you verify that the grouping of answers is acceptable?
I would put the .308 with the 7.62 also. Other than that it looks fine.
ETA: D’oh - too late!
I added you in, Elendil’s Heir.

And the winner is ~drumroll~ swampbear!!! I swear, this good ol’ boy can do everything - he can cook and knit and sing show tunes, and now we see he knows about guns, too! ::flings confetti:: You da bear! Swampy got 7/10 top answers. Perfect score was 470.06.
There’s another Feud running currently, but has slowed to a crawl. I’ll get that one scored soon, and put a new one up after.
Thanks for playing, everyone! Thanks, Amp!

“Too specialized” was the problem in my case. I’d have been basically googling and guessing for all my answers if I had tried this one.
I keep bouncing between fourth and last. What’s going on?
FWIW, I don’t do these if there are at least two questions that I can’t answer off the top of my head. For this one it was about 5 out of 10 that I couldn’t answer without a Google search.
Hmmm… I thought I made the questions general enough so that all could play. I was assuming everyone would know calibers from cop shows and war movies and such. I guess I am a gun nut after all.
I could spout off a few numbers that I know are associated with guns, but I don’t know which of those numbers are calibers or round lengths or weights or just serial numbers, and I also don’t know precisely which numbers are associated with which guns (I couldn’t tell you the difference between pistol calibers and revolver calibers, for instance).
And like Shibb, I don’t bother if there are two questions I can’t answer off the top of my head.
So close!
Also, I wonder if maybe the .357 and the “.38” should be grouped together. It does say “name a popular revolver caliber,” and I imagine most people who gave that answer were thinking of the .38 Super cartridge, which has the same caliber (around .357 inches) as the .357 Magnum. The “.38” in “.38 Super” refers to the cartridge case diameter, not the bullet diameter.
On the other hand, if you said “.38” meaning “.38 Super,” you didn’t really name a caliber at all, so I guess maybe not…
Yep, when I finally do go over the edge, I shall look f-aaaaaa-bu-lous doing so!
