#2. D’oh! It seems the “World Series earthquake” happened in 1989. But since it’s the first thing I thought of, I’m a keepin’ it.

#7. This is what we called them in high school - rugs. They’re those thick, hooded long-sleeved tops that were everywhere for a while, usually in stripey fabric. They looked a lot like panchos, but had sleeves and kangaroo pockets in front. And of course, were oversized. On edit, it’d be closest to a hoodie, but it’s not made out of sweatshirt material - it’s of a thicker and coarser weaved fabric.
