The Final Amendment.

All this amendment talk got me to thinkin’, so please bear with me.
I’m wondering, from an “is it possible” rather than an “is it likely” perspective, what if we actually managed to pass an amendment to end all further amendments.
Actually, per my daydreaming, there were two;
XXVIII - No gay marrying, ever.
XXIX - No more changing the constitution, by amendment or repeal, ever.
Eventually these would be tossed, but doing so would be unconstitutional. Now, would that lead to total anarchy?
Is there a thing in law to bar such amendments?

BTW; I totally support my friends across the bay (San Francisco) in their stance for equality and freedom.
Peace,
mangeorge

Certainly the Constitution could be made unamendable, by passing an amendment repealing Article V. The result wouldn’t be anarchy but eventually there might be a bloodless revolution to throw out the old and start over.
