The First 12 Songs on your Random-Play Music Player?

I was mowing the lawn (or rather, the leaves) this morning, a Saturday morning ritual that’s always accompanied by a random-play soundtrack from my iPod. Afterwards I realized that I’d listened to twelve songs that were an interesting cross-section of some of my musical taste, and wondered what a sampling of other people’s random-play would look like. No specific favorites, no skipping tracks – just list the first twelve tracks that come out of your next random-play and see what surprises await. Here are mine from this morning:

I cheated somewhat. I go on sprees of sampling totally random music sometimes, and often not bother to delete really bad stuff, so stuff will pop up that I don’t like whatsoever and isn’t indicative of what I listen to so I skipped it, as I’d normally instantly skip it. I should really stop being so lazy and delete the garbage.

Taken from my Neuros 20GB player. I just got the thing yesterday, and haven’t put all my music on it yet. Also, I almost never use shuffle – I much prefer listening to entire albums.

And yes, it’s very heavy on stand-up comedy. There’s nothing better for long road trips.
