Fixing mitochondia problems is excellent use of genteic science with no link towards the creation of ‘designer babies’. Mitochondria DNA is quite separate from cell neucleus DNA and is not involved in genetic evolution being passed always from the mother allone. This seems to be the supplying of healthy mitochondria from a doner woman to the fertilised egg cell of a woman who has faulty mitochondria.
My vote is for prehensile tentacles growing from the back. Or maybe a third arm (Think “Watchmaker”).
