The Food Appreciation Thread

Cadburry Cream Eggs. It’s that time of year again when they’ve come back to grace the shelves, and I love em! Pop em in the refrigerator, get the centers all nice and hard. Mmmmm…there ain’t nothing like pure, solid sugar to get you up in the morning!

More year round, though, I have to second the graces of a freshly cut pineapple. I don’t buy enough friut, but when I do, you can bet pineapple is invovled.

and although I haven’t had them in a while (damned lactose intollerance), Mozzarella sticks are the food of the gods!

And I gotta throw my hat in with the Indian Food as well. Probably my favorite category of food. I wish I knew how to cook it properly because I’d be eating this stuff all the time. I just wish it wasn’t so damned expensive.

Pretty much any chicken dish. I just love that wacky little bird. Grilled, fried, baked…there’s just not much you can do to it to make it taste bad. My friend makes excellent fried chicken strips, and my mom’s baked chicken is the best.

This Irish Stew that they served at Opal Divine’s on St. Patrick’s Day. Holy Lord, that was the best damned beef stew I’ve had EVER! I typically hate beef stew, but when I saw it being poured into the bowl…ooohhh, MAN, that was some good stuff.
