Movie was so-so. Don’t get your hopes up.

Sleepy.

Leftover pizza for breakfast, a quick visit to the boards, and now I’m gonna get ready for my last pottery class of the session. The sun is shining and it’s gonna be a bee-yoo-tee-ful day!

Hope TornaDope is a good time!

Well, I’ll be checking for TornaDope update. Wish I could have made it - but it just didn’t work this time.

Not much going on today. Got a book out of the library - Sushi for Beginners (no, it’s not a cookbook). Already finished it - was alright, nothing spectacular. Next may be something deep and meaningful. Or not.

Going to run out in a bit for some Saturday night chocolate. Tomorrow night I bake bars that are supposed to taste like Samoas. Yum.

I go to work today with the comfortable knowledge that today is a Sunday, and that means time and a half. And tomorrow’s a holiday, so that’s 2.5x. Good. And Quasi-Daughter and I might go to the Arabic Dance Night at a club downtown after work. And I have homemade pizza.

Good.

On the down side, Driving Husband got a $200 ticket for going through a stale green yesterday, and my neighbours upstairs have been loudly stomping since 8 this morning. Argh. I hope they’re moving furniture, because if that’s to noise of them just walking around I shall be very upset.

Lemme put it this way: I’ve got the song “Run Rhymer” STUCK IN MY HEAD FOREVER NOW. And Nerethel called me a weasel for not singing along (I can’t sing that fast, but I was a-tapping my brand new tambourine, so phoo on HIM.) Also, he does not make a lot of sense early in the morning - they were at the same hotel we were and we both reached the coffee pot in the lobby about the same time. It’s fun to watch him monkey-dance, though.

Seriously, they were great. This morning, the stage schedule was Elvendrums, Three Pints Gone and Seelie Court, but the bands all sort of tossed the schedule and jammed for about two straight hours.

I am exhaustified and very glad to be home, but I had a GREAT weekend.
