Heavens to murgatroid, exit stage right.
Thank you!
I do have a madeline pan, so far I’ve made traditional lemon, chocolate and coconut. I love them, they’re great with the morning coffee. The coconut recipe made tons of them (I think it was meant for a larger pan) and I think I ended up eating most of them even though I took a bunch to work (because I still ate them at work). I suppose since this is now a recipe exchange I could post the recipe but it was from a magazine and I’d have to search for the magazine. But I also will have to wait until tonight because I need to go to work soon.
I had a moment of panic when I couldn’t find the fucking cookie thread so I am topping it off.
I am still looking for my coconut madeleine recipe but I have way too many food porn magazines to look through. I found a recipe online but I’m not certain it was the same one.
My wife does the cookie exchange. I Like the peanutbutter lumps with a Hershey kiss on top, but she doesn’t make them.
I have no cookie recipes, but I’ve found a neat new secret ingredient to add to Habanero Salsa: sundried tomatoes! Cut up half the package on a cutting board into little cubes and then drop them into the food-processor along with all the habaneros you are chopping. Those ones will absorbe some of the heat.
Then add chop mix all the regular ingredients, stir them in a bowl, and place them in the fridge for storage. A few days later, when you want to have some during a bowl game (Go Rutgers!), toss in the rest of the sundried tomatoes whole and stir them around before serving. (Don’t forget the chips…!)
I made these last night. They turned out very yummy & were a big hit at today’s party, although I’d add a bit more sugar to the apricots next time.
