Is the eventual goal to have 1-to-1 relationships between D-League teams and NBA teams?
I don’t know, but it would certainly be good for the D-League if it was so. It’s much easier to be a fan of a minor league team if its organizational allegiances are clear.
Reading a Ric Bucher chat wrap, and it seems a 1-to-1 relationship is the long-term goal.
