The minions in the Despicable Me franchise speak a form of gibberish that, in some ways, seems to mimic the cadence and rhythms of English. Additionally, you will sometimes get some words that are close enough to English as to make no matter (“Hey-oh!” or “Yippee!” or “Uhh… no.”)
When the movie is dubbed into other languages, does the minions’ gibberish remain untouched, or is the gibberish “translated” into local tongues as well?
