The good ship Frank lists heavily to the right.

I still can’t figure out why people won’t just buckle down and get change pouches to keep in their pocket. When you can easily extract all the change from your pocket without having to worry that it will fall through your fingers, and you don’t have any intention of dropping it into a change jar, you end up keeping a fairly constant amount of change in your pocket. It’s easy, you can find pouches that look perfectly masculine, and overall it’s silly to not do. Why Og? Why?

My husband and I both have change purses (I guess we can call his a change pouch). I don’t know how people function without them.

Any of you Murkins who want to get rid of your loonies and toonies, you can send them to me. I’ll take 'em all.

I would always buy something for $2, open my wallet, not find any $1 bills so I’d pay with a $5. As a result I also ended up with about 4 pounds in change by the end up the trip because I never got used to reaching into my pocket to pay for small items. :smack:

Only when the sandwich station is closed.

BTW, it’s kind of funny to have a moderator’s thread get moved.

Scratch that, it’s freaking hilarious.

Another vote in favour of the change pouch. I got mine, a black leatheroid zippered thing, for four bucks across the road at the convenience store.

Pouches are so convenient when you go through security at the airport, and you have to empty your pockets into those little trays:

plunk wallet.
plunk change pouch including keys
plunk cellphone.

No embarassing digging around.

Plus, I no longer get holes in my pockets.
