The Google-Proof Cash Prize Quiz!

Thanks for running this, ianzin. It kept me occupied for a while. So we just missed out on the national anthem aspect. Looking at that Wiki page, I’m surprised Googling all those names plus “writer” doesn’t find it. I suppose it’s because you deviously chose names that are also common English words.

(That aspect of it threw me down a dead end of wondering whether the names were actually foreign ones that translated to those words in English, e.g. Zinn, Lejeune, Pfeffer…)

Well, now that you have revealed them, the answers are so obvious. :stuck_out_tongue:

I am bad at anagrams, but I still got number 3. Number 7 was more difficult and I didn’t come up with an answer. I can’t imagine me solving any of the others (except 6 which was the easiest for me) without help.

Ah. Life!

So when you’ve had enough of real life, do you want ianzin to do this again?

As a bystander (and casual Solver-Of-Two-Whole-Questions), it was a blast! I’d vote for an encore. And thanks.

The movie pair of Se7en (1995, IMDB rank #26) and John Doe (2002) also works.

Found by googling “John Doe”, strangely enough.

Yeah! I loved it! I was just REALLY bad at it and became ridiculously obsessed. Despite that, I only managed two questions by myself, another 5 by trading and 3 were beyond me.

Thanks, Ianzin!

Thanks very much Ianzin. I have received the Fabulous Wealth you sent to my PayPal account.

I will now disburse half to the talented Colophon.

It was a great idea and lots of fun.

Well done, guys! Enjoy your spend-up!

Yes thanks ianzin - and to antechinus for the collaboration. Next stop Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
