“The Great Global Warming Swindle”, a documentary on the subject of global warming, was recently broadcast by Channel 4 in the UK. What’s the chance of this being broadcast in the USA? Many BBC programs eventually show up on American TV. Does Channel 4 have similar arrangements?
While we’re at it, could Sky One send over “Hogfather”?
Channel 4 sells stuff to so-called BBC America, such as So Graham Norton, so it’s not inconceivable that The Great Global Warming Swindle could appear on that channel. It doesn’t seem like their kind of show though, judging by their dismal schedules. The programme did not have the oft-seen “produced in association with WGBH” (or other North American broadcaster) credit that a lot of BBC documentaries do and which I presume means that they get shown over there, perhaps with a different voiceover.
Anyway, it is on Google Video in its entirety. Looks to me like it was put there by the production company.
Oh, lord - I’m just going to go build my compound and remove myself from the world completely. I can’t stand this back-and-forthing - “Global Warming is absolutely true!” “Global Warming is all lies!” I’m not the Red Queen - I’m having a hard time believing contradictory things.
