Okay, got my stamps now! Went to the post office and got some global forever stamps ($1.15 each) and some regular forevers - which are now up to 49¢ each, wow! Hopefully between the two styles of stamps I’m good.

Went to the Vintage Paper Fair yesterday to get my postcards–the only problem was there were too many to choose from! I found a big “bargain” box full of fold-out postcard packets for $1 apiece and grabbed a bunch of those. One that I’m keeping for myself is a 18-image packet from the 40s(?) titled “Souvenir of US Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba”.
Is it okay if I send these postcard packets to my recipients in an envelope? I’d hate to have them mangled by an automated mail sorter.
I’ve done that in past exchanges, especially when I sent three postcards to the recipients.
Yes, blondebear, that would be just fine. I’d hate to see them get mangled in the sorter too.

Okay. I have all three of mine; vintage ones from eBay. Hopefully, they’ll be here within days and I’ll be ready to go.

Oh, and a special surprise: williambaskerville, in a show of support for the multinational nature of the Dope, has generously offered to send three postcards from Ireland. He says he doesn’t need any in return, so I have ramdonly selected three of our players to receive cards from him. The lucky recepients are: minionkat, faithfool, and Cheez-Whia. I’ll send your mailing info to william today.
You can mail your postcards as soon as you have your list of recepients. Please report back to the thread when you have mailed your cards and, especially, when you recieve any.

I am holidaying in Legoland for the end of this week, and plan to see what kind of postcards can be had there. I will send them upon my return!
I have one of the three postcards that I bought, but the rest have yet to arrive. Hopefully, they’ll be here soon.
