Assume for the moment you have to name the new guitar coming off the line. You are required to name it after the greatest rock guitarist of all time - for the moment we will leave out blues and jazz, etc. and stick with rock - What do you name this new line of guitars?
Something to do with Jimi Hendrix. He was the definitive master of the instrument.
I’d name it after Duane Allman. Maybe go with something kind of cheesy, like the Model A. Maybe name it Melissa, or Jessica, kind of like BB King’s Lucille.
If we were making a bass, which is my instrument, I’d name it the Claypool Classic, and make it a fat 6 string.
