The scary part of that story is that her approval rating managed to get down to 4% before actual steps started to be taken to remove her. What would it take to get Trump’s approval down that low? Thirty percent unemployment in the rust belt? (not saying he couldn’t manage that, somehow…)
On the other hand - good on South Korea, since it seems to be working.
The fucked up thing is that Korea keeps electing conservatives and almost immediately having buyers remorse when the conservative does what conservatives in that country have been doing since the Korean War.
Republicans will probably win a larger majority in the senate in 2018 and their 240-193 majority in the house is not likely to slip. So impeachment is highly unlikely before 2020.
That will depend on what sort of scandals erupt over conflicts of interest and overreaching on the part of the president. If his handlers can’t keep him reigned in and he starts a war somewhere, few in congress are going to jeopardize their careers by backing his play.

Neither? It’s something that’s been well known for decades. The oh-so-sacred right to bear arms suddenly isn’t sacred at all if the person with guns is black.

If there ever is a genuine, full-on putsch or coup or whatever we want to call it, having a bunch of armed hipsters ain’t gonna stop a trained military or national police force.
I agree that when congressmen and journalists start getting rounded up and tossed in the clink, the sun is quickly setting on democracy at that point. Nevertheless, as examples like Romania and Eastern Europe, where citizens are not armed to the teeth and have lived for decades and even centuries in very authoritarian societies, the most effective antidote to oppressive regimes is the refusal to be governed. A government that is armed to the teeth is powerless when masses of people believe that they’d rather be dead than enslaved and simply refuse to eat whatever bullshit the government is trying to convince them to swallow.

Here is a recent news story of a black person who was armed and who defended their home from a home invasion by a bunch of thugs.

Gun sales are actually down following the election of the glorious Donald Trump.
Most liberals apparently either don’t have money or jobs to purchase any guns and many of them live in big cities with very strict gun laws, so there hasn’t been any liberal stock piling of guns.
I imagine that decent Americans outnumber liberals at a ratio of 9 to 1 probably, when it comes to fire arms ownership, so if anybody is itching for a civil war or a revolution, and many angry liberals certainly are, then I don’t see why not. It would be a pretty funny sight to see.
