Man. The dental profession has really gone downhill in the last four millennia.
That’s cool, though, and makes me wonder just what kind of dental care they had in 2,000 BC. Whatever they were capable of doing, I’d wager alcohol played a large and popular part in it.
Before the advent of Islam (and, later, Baha’i), Egyptian dentists had regular happy hours. Now, of course, they make do with “happy houris.”
Well, at least I didn’t resort to a “Toothankhamen” joke.
Or one about too much desert.
