I can tell you with a high degree of confidence that it’s not always obvious, depending on the size of the hot tub.

I recall a similar story several decades ago that prompted Esquire magazine to give an Australian swimming pool its “Father of the Year” award.
A sperm is probably not going to be able to survive more than a very short time in any kind of chlorinated water, certainly not at 107 F. It’s not going to be able to make it even a few inches, let alone the width of a hot tub.
Well, it might be in 100+ degree water, if the fish in question are pupfish. Those critters can thrive in pretty extreme environments.
(Assuming that the 100+ degrees are degrees Fahrenheit, that is. 100+ degrees Celsius? Forget it. 100+ degrees Kelvin? Only if that’s a very very big +.)
