Well, according to the BBC, Lexus has been tinkering with a prototype hover board. About time…! October is behind the corner already! 
The speculation is that it only hovers over a magnetic surface, so not really a Back to the Future type hoverboard.
And the question I have about all magnetic hoverboards, how are you suppose to steer those things?
