Interfax is a Russian company.
Andrii Derkach was “pro bono” Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister between 2011 and 2013 - which would be this guy , who “set up a government in exile that was widely seen as a pro-Russian puppet.”
Derkach also seems to be involved in “proving” that his country that he serves in the government of was active in interfering in the United States elections of 2016 (and that it wasn’t Russia! Not RUSSIA!):
KYIV. Oct 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine's parliamentarian Andriy Derkach, the initiator of a criminal case on interference in the U.S. elections, publishes documents from which it follows that the first deputy director of the National...
Which seems like a rather strange thing to do. It’s sort of like running up to the largest, crankiest Hell’s Angel biker that you’ve ever seen and start trying to convince him that you’re the guy who felt up his girlfriend last weekend. Why in the world would you do that? And, similarly, why would you try to prove that your own country was guilty of screwing the US, while it’s being attacked by Russia, and the US is the principal force helping to keep them out?
All of which is to say: Surprisingly, Russia is trying to help Trump keep his job.
And I’ll say, HurricaneDitka , if your average reading has you coming across Russian propaganda pieces as a happenstance you should probably just assume that basically all news articles that you read and hear are trash and that you need to replace your entire information system with something better.
I might suggest, for example, that you copy the below into a file named “sources.opml” and import it at Feedly.com :

Did you not read, sir, that the scoundrel fathered a child out of wedlock? 'Tis surely the most shocking act of moral turpitude to occur in… what century are we in, again?
lol

Out of curiosity, what standards do you use when vetting sources?
That was just locker-room fornication. Doesn’t count.
Gym Jordan to The Gordon Problem: “There can’t be a quid pro quo! Ukraine never started an investigation!”
Russian media: “Hold my vodka!”
Does the source say things he likes? Unimpeachable, just like his President!
Can someone please explain to me why fathering a child out of wedlock is a bigger problem than paying a pornstar for sex just after your own wife gave birth?
HurricaneDitka:
He got hit with a bit of a double-whammy today. First off, he’s apparently fathered a child out of wedlock (It was, to his credit, after his first divorce and before his second marriage, but apparently at a time he was in a relationship with his brother’s widow, so maybe we take that point off the board)
Come on, man. You can’t possibly be serious with this.
Hunter Biden must drop out of the Democratic race!

I’ll need to know the political party of each offender before I can answer your question.
I probably wouldn’t vote for Hunter Biden if he were running for public office. But he’s not.
Joe Biden must have a really impeccable record if that’s the best the oppo research guys can do.
Considering all the warnings I get when I attempt to check his “sources” either he has one hell of an anti-virus program, or his computer is the “Typhoid Mary” of computer viruses.
“Drain the swamp” might apply to one’s browser cache, I guess.
My guess is he is using Kaspersky AV, which is probably hard-coded to avoid giving warnings to sites like that.
That would explain the Russian-based “Interfax” link. How did he just happen to find that one?
You don’t have to find them, they find you.
You could use a lesson in patriotism from Dr. Hill and maybe heed her advice to lay off the spreading of Russian fake news.
