Right. I don’t know why people keep asking for evidence. The maga mob asked what about the laptop?!, and it turns out that Hunter *did* own a laptop. Case closed I say.
I’d bet money that laptop is running Windows and yet, somehow, no one is talking about Bill Gates’ role in all of this crime.
Only if you can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he knowingly did so.
He might be protected by the fact that he got this info from a proven liar who fooled others for years too.
I guess the defense of “I’m just a credulous idiot, who parroted Russian disinformation to damage the country.” is what he’s going to go with.
It worked for Tucker Carlson - he argued that no reasonable person would be expected to believe the utter lies coming out of his mouth, so he’s not liable for the damage he causes.
I think it was a Macbook Pro, while it could be running Windows, I doubt it was. Let’s just blame Steve Jobs (RIP) here.
So indeed, this whole Hunter Biden bullshit was simply a Russian disinformation scheme from the get-go.
And I really hope that those parties who helped promote this foreign interference feel ashamed now, and will come forward to apologize.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha! I’m here all week folks. Try the veal.

Ah so Steve clearly knew too much and the Bidens Vince Fostered him.
Looks a lot like sawdust.
I hope so but the news stories tonight do not go that far.
Here is the document today’s news is based on:
If claims in the above link are true, Alexander Smirnov is a double-agent. I’m not sure why press reports aren’t using that phrase, unless it is just because, on our side, he was working for the FBI rather than the CIA.
It is a strange situation that reflects poorly on the FBI. The link suggests that Smirnov will be, if released on bail — as he has been — brought out of the United States, to escape prosecution, by the government of Israel. If this sounded implausible to the judge, well, it also sounds implausible to me. It would cause an enormous outpouring of anti-Israel outrage, in the United States, at a time when Israel can least afford it.
If any country rescues Smirnov from U.S. prosecution, I think it will be Russia.
I think it extraordinary that an alleged double-agent isn’t being held awaiting trial.
Looks a lot like the Monster Energy logo in sawdust.
Maybe Hunter was/is a woodworker. I hate to think how much of that stuff went up my nose.
I think the tablesaw in the background is a clue.
You’d think Republicans would be infuriated, or at least have the sense to be embarrassed, that they’d been duped by the Russians. Instead they’re acting like it doesn’t matters. American first? Yeah, but only after we look after Putin’s interests first.
They know Putin and Russia are helping them. They also know they can’t win without that help. It’s no longer left vs right, it’s America vs. Russia and the GOP. They’ve given up on western democracy because it can no longer give them power, so they are all in with autocratic authoritarian dictatorships now.
They don’t need help from Russia.
If members of Congress (Comer, Jordan, Grassley) now continue to peddle knowing lies that are a product of Russian propaganda and disinformation, they should be criminally investigated for being part and parcel of a conspiracy to defraud the United States and to interfere in our elections.
Wow that really needs to gain traction. Shmeernov - (and I’m not sure, exactly, to what degree) Jim, Gym and Chuckles - have to be taken to task for this.
I’m inclined to believe they knew all along they were peddling Russian disinformation, and I hope their phone/email records can eventually be searched to either corroborate or (ha, unlikely!) dispute that.
In Russia we tell lies about American President so dumb congressmen get put in gulag.
He’s not wrong.
