Happy Hump Day!
I am up too early but I’m going to stay up and log in early to irk. I have to do some laundry today as well.
It’s a cloudy 37 right now but supposed to get up to the 50s today. Any temp above freezing works for me.
Up, breakfasting, and awaiting the exciting moment when we take Higgs to the vet. The mere anticipation forced me out of bed at 5:30. OK, that and my bladder, but still…
That’s the sum of my firm plans for the day. We’ll see what else pops up.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 51 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 76 for the day. Another nice day. This mornin’ I get to venture over to the east forty for a bit. This shall occur first thing and pretty much take up the whole mornin’.
That is the sum of my excitatin’ life for the day. It’s so much fun to be me! 
Ok, that’s all I got. Time for more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then, alas and alack, purtification for irk must commence!

Precisely when has **DaBear **ever been “all demure and ladylike and subservient and…” OK, I’ll give you condescending… 
Just got my dental insurance set up, so huzzah! And it took less than 10 minutes to work my way thru the stoopit automated phone tree to get to a nice young man who updated my file and set up my enrollment, since I couldn’t get to it on line. He thinks it might be because my old work number was down as my primary contact. Anyway, after the first of the year, we can get FCD’s last 2 crowns without taking out a second mortgage. So yay! Plus it’ll cover our cleanings and x-rays with $0 copay - yay!
Wish I’d done this last year. Oh well.
Went to a concert last night. 
A house concert in a university residence. I knew the flute player in one of the bands who performed. The concert was attended mostly by university students and friends of the band, plus one baby and one dog, who were very well-behaved.
I’ve got too much to do today and I got up later than I intended, so I’m nuttering around on the internet instead of getting stuff done. As usual.
What kind of music?
I’m hoping to catch a Celloforte <sic?> show this season. It’s a cello quartet that does modern music. Kinda like Apocolyptica but not so stuffy or famous. They’ve gone through some name and line-up changes so tracking them down will mean actually reading the ads in the City Paper.
I am home all day. Love it. Gotta run to the WD for food. And sleep is on the plan for today. Movies, reading and sloth.

Thanks to the heavy (for here, at least) heavy rain, storm drains all across the region are backing up. The local McDonald’s should have been renamed Loch Donald’s as their parking lot was almost completely flooded, leaving the building in the middle of a lake.

ruble, the cello band playing current music sounds like one that my late brother had playing in his club for awhile years ago. Quite innovative.
Today has been productive, albeit, without the injestion of much coffee before ten. We had a client group touring and were given marching orders to have no food or drink on our desks. After ten, we actually got some irk done.
Today is nut up and act a fool day apparently. However, I am concerned about one person as she seemed to be really disoriented and confused at her trainin’ site. She even made a statement she was not sure where she was. The others, well, like I said, national nut up and act a fool day.
gotti were people still goin’ through the drive thru? I ask because I have witnessed cars linin’ up at a MickeyD’s drive thru with a flooded parkin’ lot. Course, ain’t a whole lot of folk very bright 'round heah.

Meatloaf, one each, is built and awaiting its time in the oven - in about an hour. Meanwhile, I should go get the mail. That’s about as productive as I can manage this afternoon.
The meatloaf will be for tomorrow. We’re going out to celebrate - **FCD **got the job and he starts Monday! Woo and Hoo!!!
Finished baking a bunch of Christmas cookies, and now I’m waiting for them to cool down.
