Thanks for that. I take back my prior requests for more info. I’m convinced that he was not hit in any way - other than incidentally as a result of his reaching out towards the car. His own phone showed Good smiling and clearly turning the wheel. But he didn’t feel the need to take 1 more step to the side.

I got quite turned off some years back when the courts began holding that there was no coercion and no power imbalance between a private citizen and a heavily armed and armored cop with the ability to(tho likely not the legitimate authority) to terribly inconvenience you. Really makes you wonder what universe such judges are living in. I truly respect private citizens who stand up to LEOs’ improper requests despite the potential risk in doing so.

If i was at high risk of being stopped by ICE (I’m not), I would stop carrying ID.
