By the way, I was thinking the other day about this thread from May 2004. Merv Griffin (creator of the show) announced on a radio show that something “amazing” was starting on Jeopardy! on May 20, 2004. We now know that was the beginning of Ken Jennings’ long winning streak but it’s amusing to read the speculation as to what the “amazing” thing is.
