The Jeopardy thread [was James Holzhauer][contains spoilers]

I find that I don’t notice that Buzzy is hosting; he just seems that natural.

Since the thread started about James Holzhauer and his “all-in” push gesture, I laughed at one of today’s contestants who bet it all on the first Daily Double with a “what the heck” wave. It’s as if the “all-in” bet is no longer a big deal.

Agree here about Buzzy. Once I got used to his glasses. He’s doing a great job. I may like him best so far.

I was dreading Buzzy as host, but he has impressed me. He’ll be a tough act to follow.

Oh my. Do we actually have a consensus on Buzzy?

I like how Buzzy adds the little bits of info after the answers.

He needs to improve his German, though.

Did y’all hear me screaming at my tv last night:

“Beethoven, damnit, Who is Beethoven?

Not one of those so-called geniuses knew that it was his 250th birthday.

I heard ya!

Oops…nevermind.

I thought he was too hyper

Not to mention “Emperor Concerto.”

In other news, after 10 games Buzzy really grew on me and I now rank him as the only GH who was better than Ken.

This was the easiest FJ I can remember in a long time.

I liked Mayim Bialik today - she’s in my top tier.

She was really good. She radiated intelligence.

Agreed.

Wait, what? When was that filmed? Because Beethoven was born in 1770.

The clue was:

Featuring works like the “Emperor” concerto, in 2020-'21 the London philharmonic honors this composer’s 250th birthday.

So it works regardless of when the episode was filmed.

I know that Beethoven’s birthday is December 16th, but I didn’t know what year.

Oh, okay. I was a little worried there.

Why is that a thing you think people would know?

I was yelling at the screen “Rick Baker! Baker!” when they showed his picture, I didn’t even need to hear the clue, and yet I am not at all surprised that none of them knew it.

Because in my universe, his 250th was a huge event, celebrated worldwide, throughout the year. And who else wrote an “Emperor” concerto?
I realize your universe may differ.
