"The Jew is the incarnation of Satan and the symbol of evil."

So Mao, Stalin, Kim Jong Il, Pol Pot, Mussolini, and Hitler walk into a bar…

…and the bartender says, “What is this, a joke?”

::Kabong!, the sound of multiple heads hitting a door-frame mounted metal chin-up bar. ::

They should look where they are going.

No wonder…you’ve got the wrong map. That’s a map of Stalingrad. You can’t have much fun at Stalingrad.

I said, You can’t have much fun at Stalingrad.

Hmmm…quite possible. Comes from spending time at a end-of-the-world fundie board where then believe the EU is the beast with ten heads the Anti-Christ rides in on. Thus making the idea that Good Egg was serious seem all too plausable. I’ve got to stop hanging out over there :stuck_out_tongue: .

…and they see Jeffrey Archer sitting by himself in the corner, looking glum…

Eh? Whst does Heinlein have to do with Nazis?

Heinlein was a homosexual Nazi.

Just helping you out, and all.

He didn’t look National Socialist.

I heard his mother was Jewish and father was a gypsy.

Just what I heard… what?

;j

I actually did read that, on a fundie website. I know very well a united Europe isn’t a bad thing and that Hitler was a dictator. Are you saying a United Europe couldn’t e taken over by another dictator? I think they were implying a united anything was bad, globally.

Maybe 17 or 18 posts?

I’ll see your Mao and raise you a Pol Pot.

(Is there a site that compares the deaths attributable to dictators?)

Like this one?

Shit! :smack: I forgot about that article. Thanks Miller

The bartender says to Mussolini, “What’ll you have?”

The rest of them order the bartender to be executed for not serving them first.
Nyuk-nyuk-nyuk!

That’s okay. In Stalin’s Russia, getting caught reading something by stalin wrote could get you sent to the gulags.

Because if you can read Something by comrade stalin, then it’s just a small step to reading counter-revoluntionary literature. Either that or you’re a spy trying to hide yourself. Either way, We can’t take that chance, so off to the Gulag with you.

Oh, great, so now I’m being lumped in with Mao, Stalin, Kim Jong Il, Pol Pot, Mussolini, and Hitler…

He has a guitar, I repeat, suspect has a guitar. I need back up, now!
Guitar Control

Some of Heinlein’s short stories, arguably, seem to advocate a sort of fascism. Also Starship Troopers. I can see it in Starship Troopers, where only military veterans are citizens - but I’m skeptical about the shorter stories. I prefer to believe that as a good science fiction writer, Heinlein was just doing his job and playing with whatever future political system struck him as interesting - but I’d be willing to be proven wrong, if someone has solid evidence the guy was a fascist.
