The joy of children

I dunno…I think it has sort of a negative kind of energy to it. Interesting texture and balance.

Is it a turkey?

Adorable kid!

Oh dear God!

On the other hand, the look on his face is priceless!

“Oh, Hi- It’s a work in progress…”

I just showed the pic to mr. avabeth (this is NOT the way to convince him that we’re almost ready for a child). He made several faces. So I nicely explained to him that if we do have a child, when they’re two, they may do things like this. His response?

“Then we’ll have a two-year-old that gets sold on eBay.”

He’s an only child who never had much contact with younger children;). He’s in for a BIG surprise.

Ava

Browse through the rest of my album, there are plenty of pictures to show him of kids being cute without kukai all over the place.

My wife was the one who found Jamie. Her first thought was not anger, but,* I gotta get a camera.*

[mini-hijack]It might be the lack of sleep but I thought the OP was “The Joy of Chicken”[/mini-jack]

I’ve always thought of her as a tattoo artist in training. She certainly seems proud of herself.

I like the little smudge of poop over his eyebrow. Very “I was busy painting and had to brush my hair from my brow.”

(My first response when seeing this was “That must have smelled terrible.”)

Reason 82398409238409 that I’m never having children.

He is a cutie, though.

What FilmGeek said. Further evidence that my decision to never have children does confer certain aesthetic – if not genotypic – advantages.

Of course, yours is adorable (minus the poop, of course).

I’m never having children. (And that’s not even the only reason.)

Yes, he is beautiful, Roadwalker.
I’m getting a laugh out of some your reactions. Too funny.

It’s really, really not that bad. It’s gross but you just deal with it. You plop your little artist into the tub first, then laundry, then the wall. Done.

It’s just one of the many tasks in the Care & Feeding of Young’uns. They’re amazingly dirty stinky little fellers. You get used to it. After awhile, you can clean them up in your sleep. And there’s nothing more sweet and cuddly after a nice bath and clean jammies.

Jamie’s room still smells bad, we just realized that it’s the wall. The wall is porous and has assimilated the odor.
Thank God the weather this week is great for open windows.
